How Tasker works

You post a task for free, verified pros nearby send offers with their own price, and you hire the one you trust. You pay the pro when the job is done.

From task to done

Before you hire

  1. Post your task

    Say what you need, add up to 6 photos, pin the place and pick a day. Add a rough budget if you like: Under ₦10k, ₦10k to ₦30k, ₦30k+ or Not sure.

  2. Pros near you see it

    Your task goes to verified pros within about 10 km who do that work. If nobody has sent an offer after 2 hours, Tasker asks pros up to 20 km away. Pros only see the area, not your address.

  3. Offers come in

    Each offer has the pro's price, when they can come and a message. Compare ratings, reviews, distance and jobs done, sorted by best match, lowest price or nearest.

  4. Chat or call

    Ask questions and share photos inside the app. Numbers and outside links are hidden until you hire.

After you hire

  1. Choose this pro

    The pro gets your address and you get a 4-digit start code. The other pros are told the task is taken.

  2. Start code at the door

    When the pro arrives, give them the code from your app. Only give it to the pro shown in the app.

  3. Job done

    The pro marks the job finished, you check the work and tap Job done. If you do not reply, it is marked done after 48 hours.

  4. Pay and review

    Pay the pro the agreed price, in cash or by transfer. Then you review the pro and the pro rates you.

You see the price in each offer before you choose anyone. When you post, you can add a rough budget:

How Tasker makes money

Customers pay nothing to Tasker. Pros choose a plan that sets how many offers they can send each month.

Free: ₦0, 5 offers a month.

Pro: ₦5,000 a month, 20 offers a month.

Business: ₦15,000 a month, unlimited offers.

Safety on every job

  1. Verified pros

    Every pro confirms their NIN and a matching selfie before they can send offers.

  2. Private numbers

    Chat and calls go through the app. Your number stays private.

  3. Reviews both ways

    Reviews come only from jobs done on Tasker, from customers and from pros.

  4. Report a problem

    Within 7 days of a job. A person from Tasker support reads every report. In danger, call 112 first.
